From a sensory standpoint you simply can not go wrong with being outdoors! Anything and everything you do will likely be sensory input from the power sensations! And the incredible benefit of the sunlight and vitamin D3 is just that much more bang for your buck.  Not to mention the awesome benefits of grounding/earthing. Make it a household rule to be outdoors for AT LEAST one hour a day, and that includes you! In the summer, the amount of time outdoors should far outweigh the time indoors. Encourage unstructured play simply enjoying and exploring what nature has to offer. Climb trees, take a nature walk, dig a hole and make mud pudding, build a snowman or build a snow cave.  The possibilities are endless!

Stay far, far away from the chemical and toxin based sunscreens! Visit this page for the reasons why and also for safe, natural sunscreen options.
